Lector
The lector reads the First and Second readings at Mass.

Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
When there is a need for distributing the Eucharist, the EMHC aids the priest in this most solemn task. Priests are the ordinary ministers of Holy Communion since they have been ordained to Christ the Eternal High Priest.

Altar Serving
They carry the incense and thurible, present the bread, wine, and water to the priest during the preparation of the gifts, or assist him when he receives the gifts from the people. Servers assist in the washing of hands by the priest, and assist the priest and deacon as necessary.

Music

Parish Director
Erin Brown, our main music director, organizes different members of our choir at Saturday Mass, both Sunday Masses, Penances Services, concerts, and other various events.

St. Paul Newman Center
Students from the Newman Center enjoy leading the Faithful in praise and worship during Adoration on Wednesdays before candle lit night Mass. Additionally, we have a men’s schola that will chant once a month before Mass as well.

Alleluia Assembly
Musically inclined members from our parish are a part of the Alleluia Assembly, a group compromised of guitarists, singers, and more.

Parish Council of Catholic Women (PCCW)

The PCCW includes all women members of the St. Mary-St. Paul Parish. They help support our parish by putting on many of our big events, whether it is the annual Christmas Bazaar (which has been going for almost 70 years!), Mother’s Day Banquet, our 150th Celebration in 2023, and much more!

Knights of Columbus (KOC)

The KOC helps us with parish events like the Christmas Bazaar, hosting a pancake breakfast each year for the community. They volunteer their time with other events throughout the year as well!
